Hello my brüs of the  OG wet shaving community

Welcome to brü!

My process for creating a brü shaving brush begins with the careful selection of the base wood. I love working with exotic or hardwood burl caps and  my own brü has laid some treasures in my lap in the form of old preserved B.C. river wood that has yielded some incredible gems as well.

I try and cut each piece with a jewellers eye in an attempt to maximize the exposed grain. The pieces are stabilized using a heat activated  resin in a vacuum  chamber to ensure durability and water resistance. The stabilized pieces are then cast in resin and cured under pressure. I select dyes and pigments that are complimentary to the wood species and the aesthetic I'm looking for. After curing for one week, the blank is hand turned to reveal the beautiful brü shave brush handle inside. Every brü shaving brush handle receives 12 coats of durable CA finish, sanded and hand polished to a jewellers shine.

Working loosely from a standard, every brü shaving brush handle is an original and unique piece of art. The style is my "Stubby" a substantial handle around 2" in height and a great feel in the hand. Always fitted with the very best hand-tied Badger hair or synthetic knots available today.

Brü is my passion, I love imagining and creating every brush handle that leaves my studio. I am an artist, not a production facility. I will be doing drops when I have artwork to share so if you like my work and want a brü in your rotation, you know what to do. I hope you enjoy your brü, brü.

"Always OG, Always unique"
